Philippines 15-year plan to expand the area of rubber plantations for more than 12 times

Philippines Department of Agriculture recently expressed the hope that in the next 15 years, the Philippines will be the expansion of rubber plantation area of more than 12-fold to 1,000,000 hectares.
At present, the country's 81,925 hectares of rubber in the area. Agriculture Secretary Domingo Panganiban said the Philippines also plans to pre-2020 natural rubber production and exports from the current total value of 36,500,000 U.S. dollars up to about 960,000,000 U.S. dollars. Philippines annual rubber production is currently about 315,600 hectares.
