India announced on China, Thailand imported tires anti-dumping duties

India from the Ministry of Finance announced on October 9 from China and Thailand import tires of the provisional anti-dumping duties levied to provide the lowest price limit for commercial tires 99.10 U.S. dollars / units, 37.1 percent tariff composite (including anti-dumping duties of 16%). The provisional anti-dumping duties is valid for 6 months, India and joint anti-dumping tariff of the Board (DGAD) after the final, will decide whether to impose final anti-dumping duties. India's domestic commercial tire market in about 10,000,000, a pair of tire price of about Rs 24,000; China imports about 300,000 tires, each tire on the price of Rs 17,000, of which about 30% of the price difference. India, said the industry levy provisional anti-dumping import tax will increase tire prices by 8%, about Rs 1000 or so, this is the price difference compared to 30%, will not change the existing pattern of commercial tire market. All India Union tire dealers and tire Chinese exporters will be held on October 17 appearance.
