According to local media reports on the 12th, as the world's fourth largest exporter of natural rubber, Vietnam is estimated that in 2010 domestic rubber production increased to 700,000 tons to meet domestic market demands.

To this end, Vietnam will rubber plantation area from the current 478,000 hectares in 2010 to 700,000 hectares. At the same time, Vietnam will also increase investment in rubber processing plants to meet domestic and export demand.

In the first 5 months of this year, Vietnam exported 221,000 tons of rubber, the export volume of about 376,000,000 U.S. dollars, respectively, year-on-year growth of 40.5 percent and 101.3 percent.

In 2005, Vietnam exported 574,000 tons of rubber rubber, exports of about 787,000,000 U.S. dollars in 2004 increased 11.9 percent and 31.9 percent. Vietnam mainly exports rubber market in China, South Korea, Japan, Germany and the United States.
