Singapore on October 9: Asia-level rubber tire market prices were virtually unchanged Monday, the Japanese market closed for the day today because of holidays. Traders are waiting for the main buyers in China after the National Day vacation to re-enter the market.
Traders said that the world's largest rubber producing and exporting countries - Thailand, rainfall has decreased, and the neighboring countries of Indonesia and Malaysia are also adequate supply of rubber.
"China's long over, but I did not see the Chinese bid. Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) closed today. I do not think that China would be willing to trade the stock market. Rubber prices were virtually unchanged." Thailand in the southern city of Hat Yai a Traders said.
Sailing in November of Thailand targets on the 3rd tobacco film (RSS3) and 20 standard rubber (STR20) reported that 1.90 U.S. dollars per kilogram.
TOCOM indicators in March 2007 contract closed last Friday 2 yen higher, reported 232.1 yen per kg.
Belawan and Palembang in Indonesia in December sailing on the 20th standard plastic (SIR20) FOB price of 83 cents per pound has been reported (about 1.82 U.S. dollars per kilogram).
Malaysia SMR20 rubber was flat at 1.88 U.S. dollars per kilogram, some traders said buyers for the bid at around 1.85 U.S. dollars per kilogram.
