Malaysia International Trade and Industry Vice Minister Wu Yang said a few days ago, the country's rubber industry in recent years, strong growth in 2005 reached as high as 14,000,000,000 ringgit (about 30,800,000,000 yuan) of the volume of trade, in 2004 and 11.5 billion ringgit (About 25,300,000,000 yuan), Ma rubber trade volume increased by 22%.

He pointed out that the package is still in the field of rubber industries in the main market for trade-related opportunities. In this area needed to rubber products, including bags, films and other packaging materials, and so on, is also Malaysia's major export products.

Wu Yang said that although the existence of these favorable factors, but the rubber industry must make the best use of knowledge and information, new products, production processes and to improve management and service levels to increase input. He called Rubber Manufacturers Association members must be introduced to the latest industry trends and information to enable them to catch up with the latest development trend.

In addition, the Malaysian Rubber Manufacturers Association Chairman Yang Shui-chung said that the rubber industry, although growth was robust, but the industry is faced with globalization and low-cost producing countries brought about by the competition.
