Philippines development of the rubber plantation industry

Philippines province of south cotabato local officials, natural rubber has been the future of the province's foreign trade as the major commodities. It is said that the region's soil, elevation and the weather conditions are suitable for planting rubber trees. There has been a number of Chinese investors in the next two years, and is willing to hilly areas of the province to develop 30,000 hectares of rubber plantations. As the initial preparations for the project, the Philippines Department of Agriculture is working in the region to establish a rubber tree nursery.
