The first 8 months of this year, Vietnamese rubber exports

It is reported that Vietnam National Bureau of Statistics reported that the first 8 months of this year, Vietnamese rubber for export of 383,000 tons year-on-year decrease of 10%. However, the export turnover of more than 10 billion U.S. dollars in the same period last year increased by 30% due to the rubber export prices by 42%. Ministry of Industry and Trade forecast that this year's rubber exports will reach 780,000 tons of rubber, exports reached about 1,450,000,000 U.S. dollars, the export volume will increase by 4% of the value of domestic exports increased 2.3 percent. Even many of the industry believe that in 2008 Vietnam's rubber export turnover may reach 17 billion U.S. dollars, will increase 21.6 percent over last year, mainly due to price increases.
