Thailand weather the drought led to the decline in rubber production by 10%

By the end of last year's drought weather, Thailand's rubber production is expected this year, down 10%.

Thailand rubber plantation President of the Union Association (FRPAT) said that from January to stop tapping, in some areas before the resumption of production in the near future, he expects this year's rubber production will be down compared with last year, about 10%.

Indonesia is Thailand's closest competitor, in 2004 produced 2,070,000 tons of rubber, exports 1,870,000 tons.

Thailand is in the south of the country's main rubber-growing areas, usually in the region as a whole, there will be rain. However, over the past six months, almost no rainfall in the region, only months before the emergence of rainfall.
