This year and next year the world's natural rubber production increase is less than demand growth

According to the latest issue of "tropical market," the weekly report is expected this year and next year the world's natural rubber production increased slightly, but the growth rate will be lower than the world's natural rubber consumption growth.

In 2005 the world's natural rubber output is expected to reach 8,934,000 tons, up 3.6 percent. In 2006 the world's natural rubber production is estimated to be 9,011,000 tons, up less than 1%. At the same time, in 2005 the world's natural rubber consumption expected to increase 5.2 percent over last year, reaching 8,600,000 tons. In 2006, the world's natural rubber consumption is expected this year than the 3.5 percent growth in consumption, amounting to 8,900,000 tons.

The magazine forecasts that as Japan, China and other big power consumption demand, resulting in a shortage of natural rubber. Despite this year and next year the world natural rubber production will increase, but still could not fully meet the strong demand for the world market.
