U.S. tire market in the first quarter sales

A few days ago, the U.S. tire market mixed sales in the replacement tire market, car tires in March of the same period last year sales growth of 4.4 percent, reaching 18,200,000. However, car tires in the original tire market, sales fell by 10.9 percent, only 4,700,000. On the light truck tires, replacement tires in March sales fell 3.8 percent, to 3,000,000, while the original tire sales fell 23.1 percent, only 600,000.

1 quarter of this year, U.S. sales of car tires (original and replacement tires sum of the child) up 3.7 percent to 64,000,000; light truck tire sales fell by 1.8 percent year-on-year, reaching 10,400,000.
